REMANUFACTURING PROCESS INVOLVES:
- Receipt, visual inspection and documentation of core
- Inspection and cleaning of core and parts
- Cleaning is done utilizing latest state-of-the-art cleaning equipment
- All transmissions are completely disassembled and put on a cleaning machine through a minimum of three complete cycles
- Remanufactured replacement transmissions are built to the same serial number specification as the original failed unit to guarantee compatibility unless otherwise specified or requested
- Mandatory replacements include:
- All bushings, thrust washers, seals, gaskets, and bearings; clutches replaced as needed
- If parts do not meet the Allison service parts specifications, they are replaced automatically
- Assembly of parts with combination of mandatory new parts and reworked parts
- All work performed by Allison trained technicians and guild members
